Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian listeners!

Let’s get into some events for the day.

Laurier event to mark on your calendars is Do you like to Ziggy Zoggy?  Do you also like to OI OI OI?  Come to the Turret’s tradidtional Oktoberfest celebration at the HAWK HAUS. This is an ALL AGES event. October 18, 2013 10:00 PM ET. KW is having every single event possible happening today! Kitchener City Hall – Civic Square has the 45th annual “TAPPING OF THE KEG” from 11:30am-1pm.This signifies the official opening of Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest 2013. The Official Proclamation will be read and Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest President, Harry Vogt, will drive the spigot into the keg to kick off the beginning of our nine day Festival.Fall Art Market, Petting Zoo, Rock Climbing Wall, Pony rides are happening at  Crabby Joes Parking Lot (between Queen and Frederick St. Kitchener) from 1:30-6pm. GUC BASAR GULLE at THE JAZZ ROOM is performing from  6:30-11:30pm at The Jazz Room at the Huether Hotel. Doors open at 6:30 P.M. Come for dinner; stay for music! Show starts at 8:30 P.M.
