February usually means that we’re one step closer to spring, but apparently not this year because it is freezing outside! Make sure to bundle up and stay warm because it looks like winter is going to stick around for a little while longer.
It’s all about the Culture
If you don’t live under a rock, then you’ll know that Migos is arguably at the top of the rap game right now, and they just dropped Culture II, which is set to be the second No.1 album that the rap group has put out. In the studio today, DJ TANG and DJ SMALLZ listened to a few of the tracks on the album to get an idea of what the album is like.
“Supastars” – Not very different from other Migos songs we’ve heard in the past. Sticks to the same formula and doesn’t really expand on their body of work, but it sounds good so we still like it. B+
“Notice Me (Feat. Post Malone)” – We love the dynamic that Post Malone brings to the track. Super chill song with a great, catchy hook. Not usually what we’re used to seeing from Migos but we definitely like this song. A
“Stir Fry” – Groovy and fun, but also repetitive. Very groovy and definitely something to dance to, but the repetition throws us off a bit. B-
