This week, Dj Kayles put together a different kind of playlist than what we usually play. It included many hip hop and rap songs that a bit of people may not know of. We played tracks from artists such as Ye Ali, Goldlink, Willow, and De La Sol. Dj Kayles wanted to keep the vibe different this week, and switch up our genre just a little bit. We tried a new thing this week where we let one Dj make the playlist instead of both. It saves time and introduces both of us to some music that either of us may not know.
For Jam Of The Week, Dj Kayles introduced a song called On The Map by The Sensei Blue, a kind of slow wavy rap song. A lot of people don’t know much about The Sensei Blue, however he was an interesting but cohesive choice for this week’s playlist. Below is his trippy video, which can be comparable to Lil Yachty‘s “1 Night” music video. Have a look:
Tuesday night, we did a recap of dirty bingo, where we mentioned how we raised more than our goal, thanked everyone that came out, and talked a little about the prizes and how they were won. We also talked about our halloween costumes, and Dj Mola even explained to us how she created her Gold Digger costume, which was a very different and unique choice.
