Agnes Obel’s ‘Aventine’ Review

November 14, 2013 by Vanessa Roylance

Looking for a smooth, soft sound you can close your eyes and melt away to? Agnes Obel’s new album Aventine is the perfect remedy to a long day. Her wispy voice glides along the remedy of each track, providing an almost ghostly sound. Once you press play and the unique stillness of the album fills the room, you’re almost persuaded to stop what your doing and listen. Obel sings in a way that creates the feeling there is a secret you’re missing out on and the only solution is to delve into the set of songs.

This album is definitely worth a listen, check it out! ☺
