Well Radio Laurier listeners, it’s a new year and that means plenty of new music and discussion with James & James. Our first show back on the air saw guest host Hilary Whiskin posing thoughtful questions regarding the modern musician’s life.

If you happened to miss this one, check it out on our soundcloud page: https://soundcloud.com/wlu-cia

It was an afternoon of great conversation, we look forward to much more in the months to come!

      UPCOMING EVENTS:

“Music at Noon with Mark Joelson Daboll (baritone) and Beth Ann De Sousa (piano)” in the Maureen Forrester Recital Hall on Jan. 12 at 12PM

      “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (Multi-Day Event) in A431 (Aird Building) on Jan. 13 at 8PM and Jan. 14 at 2PM and 8PM

The Sound is a show that is run by the CIA (Composers and Improvisors Association), a group of students on campus that represent student artists.  The Sound features music, sound art, poetry, spoken word, short stories (anything really!) that is written by Laurier student, alumni, and faculty.  We would love to have some of your works on the show, if you are an artist at Laurier and what to get your work on The Sound, please do so by sending your file(s) here:          www.facebook.com/laurier.cia          and send us a brief description of your piece.
