Week 03: September 26, 2016

September 27, 2016 by Khadijah Plummer

This week, After Class got a new host in the studio. DJ Deej and DJ Stretch (now DJ Winks) welcome Nicole aka DJ Nix to the studio. The trio had a lot to talk about, from Chance The Rapper to PARTYNEXTDOOR. DJ Nix is going to see Chance on Wednesday, at Toronto’s TD Echo Beach venue. She will provide us with a review on the next show, and probably online.

The first song that the trio played was The Weeknd’s newest single, Starboy. It is the first single off the upcoming album, supposedly dropping on November 25th of this year. Will he pull a Frank Ocean and make us wait? We’ll see.

DJ Stretch is no more – he has changed his name to DJ Winks, as it is a name that he is more known as amongst friends. In addition, he will be running the Twitter page for the show. Tweet us @RLAfterClass, and we will tweet back. We also love song requests, so make them!

This week’s track list is as follows:

  1. Starboy – The Weekend
  2. Deja Vu – Post Malone ft. Justin Bieber
  3. All Night – Chance the Rapper
  4. Lamborghini Dreaming – Kid Ink
  5. Caroline – Amine
  6. Soldier – Destiny’s Child
  7. Fade Away – Logic
  8. Wyclef Jean – Young Thug
  9. Blazin – Vic Mensa
  10. OOOUUU – Young M.a
  11. No Church in the Wild – The Throne
  12. Chill Bill – Rob $tone ft. J Davis and Spooks
  13. House Work – Jax Jones
  14. What If I Go? – Mura Masa

Mondays from 10-11 p.m. Tune in, and turn up.
