Tonight’s show was all about travel aspirations and experiences. I talked briefly about my holidays and having my family friends travel to Kitchener from Nova Scotia to celebrate Christmas with my family and I. Our friends drove 24 hours one way and unfortunately had to cut their visit short by a day to avoid driving through some nasty eastern weather. I then talked about my first experience on a flight this year, needless to say it is the much preferred way to travel. Speaking of flying, a new airline is coming to Canada called New Leaf, which is going to provide Canadians with the opportunity to fly nationally (through having airports in smaller cities) at a much lower cost. In 2017 Prime Minister Trudeau is planning on dropping national park entrance fees across Canada, further encouraging Canadians to make the most of the New Leaf airlines and travel across Canada and see the beauty of the country we live in. I definitely want to take advantage of these deals next year.
