SpectruMusic Week 16 (The Week Where I Saw BBNG)

March 29, 2018 by Lucas_GuLucas

Hey so if you’re wondering where I disappeared to this week and why it was just Brain Eno’s Ambient 1: Music for Airports, and you haven’t kept up to date with the show, I went to a BadBadNotGood concert and you can read about it hear: https://radiolaurier.com/2018/03/29/badbadnotgood-concert-review/

Anyway I’ll just post a bit of news then: Most importantly, we’re getting a new Death Grips album called Year of the Snitch, which I am thrilled for holy. You’ll be sure to hear some Death Grips soon.

Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland to Perform for 4 Hours at Moogfest 2018, which is absurd and apparently it’s going to be extremely experimental and such, but I just thought that headline was hilarious.

http://isdmxinjail.com/ DMX is back in jail for tax evasion, this used to be my home page I love one it changes why can’t this man stop going to jail.

Fugazi apparently plays shows in private. They all still get together and jam whenever, but why they don’t still play I couldn’t tell you.

A study has been going around about what musicans you like says about you, the 2015 study showed that the “most open” people “liked” Tom Waits and Björk, the “least open” “liked” Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean, the “most extroverted” liked Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame, and the “least agreeable” “liked” Marilyn Manson, Rammstein, Placebo, and Judas Priest. The “most neurotic” also “liked” Manson and Placebo, in addition to the Smiths, Bring Me the Horizon, and Escape the Fate. No musicians appeared on the “least neurotic” list, only sports-related topics (ESPN, “football,” Derrick Rose, the Miami Heat, and “SportsCenter.”) Just an interesting study I thought I’d put out.

Anyway no set list, just played the entirety of Brian Eno’s Ambient 1: Music for Airports
