After Class – The Jam

September 25, 2017 by Amelia Mola

Hey fellow Golden Hawks! Hope all of you are having a fantastic start to the week and are getting ready for a lit Hoco weekend! Make sure you tune into the Jam Tuesday night between 10-11pm and listen to DJ Kales and I discuss some new music, plans for the Homecoming weekend, and Rihanna’s new beauty line. Our Jam of the week is an amazing new song called Good God Damn from Arcade Fire’s new album Everything Now. Make sure to check out the video below for Arcade Fire’s other new song Everything Now. This whole album has a fantastic, funky sound to it and I’m sure you will all enjoy it. We will also be playing two Mac Demarco songs this week. One is a cover of Mac’s song Let My Baby Stay by Amandla Steinberg, and the other is Chamber of Reflection, both of these tunes are featured on Mac’s 2014 album, Salad Days.

DJ Kayles and I will also be discussing some of the latest movies, such as It, which hit the big screen just last week. Feel free to Tweet us at @RLAfterClass and let us know about any new flicks you’ve seen that are worth sharing with us! We will also be playing a game of “Desert Island”, where will pick our top 3 movies or top 3 shows that we would have to watch for the rest of our lives if we were stuck on a desert island.  We’ll be ending our show off with a beautiful song by Amy Winehouse titled “Tears Dry” off her album Lioness: Unreleashed Treasures. Tuesday night, 10-11pm, DJ Kales and DJ Mola. Hang out and chill out with us.
