Who’s Hot? Who’s Not?

August 26, 2014 by Scott Glaysher

Wuddduupp friends? Hope you guys are getting ready for exams frosh week because lord knows we are ready for Fall semester to be back in full swing. We’ve been planning some really dope stuff for y’all so make sure to keep your ears to us as we keep our ears to the streets. That was a mouthful.

Anyways, we started things off with some new Travi$ Scott. He dropped a new EP entitled ‘Days Before Rodeo’. I’ve gotta say, I’ve listened to the tape back a forth and still have no idea what the title means so don’t feel bad if you don’t get it. However, he does have some pretty hot tracks on there. The production is banging and his flow is something special (as per usual). Make sure to peep a few of our faves below. Laaa Flame!

In other news, Joe Budden is wanted for theft, Beyonce runs the game and Jeezy might have the album of the year.

We also take a little trip down one hit wonder lane. Kind of. In the recent wake of this whole Bobby Shmurda craze, we took a look at a couple rappers that got major label deals off one song. These MCs got a major deals based off one record alone. Just one. Who do you think kept the momentum going? You do you think absolutely flopped? Let us know!

J Kwon – Tipsy

Soulja Boy – Crank That

J Cole – Lights Please

New Boyz – You’re A Jerk

Joey Badass – Random Freestyle (Literally)

A$AP Rocky – Peso

Chief Keef – Don’t Like

Trinidad James – All Gold Everything

Sage The Gemini – Gas Pedal

BOBBY SHHHHMURDA – Hot N***a

Well, that’s it from us this week. Make sure to catch our final show of the summer next week. Same place and of course the same time. Word word.
