Good evening, ladies and djentlemen. On tonight’s broadcast of The Circle Pit, we will be showcasing some of our favourite tracks from the world of “djent”. Love it or hate it, this metal subgenre has seen tremendous growth in the last handful of years, so we feel that it’s a sound with enough signifcance to justify devoting an entire show to it. Emmett The Shmem-Tones Toner definitely knows a lot more about this style than myself, so I’m looking forward to extracting some new musical knowledge out of his big blonde cranium.
