DIY Decorations

November 11, 2013 by meghanroach

Happy Monday to all of the lovely listeners out there!

This morning myself, DJ Baby Roach and DJ Kpop had an eventful Monday morning talking about all of the lovely things currently going on in the realm of students in WLU.

We talked about the Moc Monday that happens at the Aboriginal Centre on Mondays.  They entitled the day as Creative Native Monday, where one could go and destory their stress of school by making mocassins and other Native Crafts.  They had the help of professionals on hand to teach you how to make them!

Also happening was an information session with the International Exchange Program.  This is a super awesome way to travel and see the world while also obtaining your credits!

Later on the Show Kpop and myself discussed Jennifer Lawrence and here wet suit pros and cons as well as Miley Cyrus and her lovely EMA red carpet outfit.  Lets be real, when does Miley Cyrus not grace us with her presence during out entertainment section?

We jumped the gun a little bit on the holiday season, however, both Kpop and I had spent Sunday each decorating our houses for the holidays and were in the Christmas spirit.  Our How To was How To Do It Yourself Christmas decorations.  Readers Digest was the best option and provided us with 30 different awesome ways to make decorations out of household items.

Last but not least, this day in history.  This day in history, in 1918, the allies signed the armistice at the 11th hour on the 11thday of the 11th month  thereby ending the First World War.  Today we take a moment of silence to honour the men and women who gave their lives for our country.

Lest we forget.

Don’t forget to tune in to another eventful Morning Show tomorrow as we have an interview with the Stache Bash main band, Poor Young Things!
