Don’t Be Dustin Hoffman

September 17, 2014 by Brennan Reid

Eeeeeelaine! Eeeeeeeelaine! Eeeeeeeeeeelaine!

That look at the very end is what gets me everytime. Dustin Hoffman’s look as he stares foreward – what is he going to do? What are they going to do? I don’t wanna be Dustin Hoffman – I would like to have some idea of what I’m going to do after school. When I’m a The Graduate.

Well, if you couldn’t guess, I reviewed The Graduate. It’s an old movie, filmed in 1967, and stars Dustin Hoffman in his most seminal role. I just could find the time this week to go to the theatre to see a new movie, so I went old school!

I love the soundtrack to that movie. Simon & Garfunkel are great. Hello darkness my old friend….

I also talked news, duh, and how much I like the Brantford Film Group.

In the weird wide world of the movies and the Internet, check out this video of an animatronic Rocket Racoon from Guardians of the Galaxy. Very creepy (I do not like dolls/doll like things/robots). It honestly looks like it will straight up murder you or steal your fake leg. #reference.

Tommy Wiseau, creative genius behind The Room, is making a sitcom television show. Check out this amazing AV Club article on the brand new poster for the show. Also, read the description used as the header – THE SHOW SOUNDS AMAZE-BAD!

Anyway, until next time folks. Keep that popcorn popping.
