In Conversation: Pride, Research and Community is a collaboration between the Office of the Associate Vice-President, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Radio Laurier. Maryam Khan, Tin Vo, Michael Woodford, Charlie Davis, and Cameron McKenzie first discuss the relationship between their identities and lived experience, and how they carry out research with 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and communities. Researchers Eden Hennessey, Michael Woodford, Tin Vo, Maryam Khan, Cameron McKenzie, and Charlie Davis then highlight projects with 2SLGBTQ+ communities that have particularly resonated with them. Recognizing intersectionality and the multiple identities individuals hold, Maryam Khan, Todd Coleman, Charlie Davis, and Eden Hennessey share how identities can impact the varying experiences of 2SLGBTQ+ persons.
