A new mini series also comes to life as I debunk some weather myths in a lightning round. In the second hour of the show, I’ll be discussing Storm Chandra in the next installment of this week in weather news - and (if we have time) discuss Hurricane Hazel - the one and only hurricane to hit Ontario . And, as always, I’ll be giving the weekly forecast, Liam's locked in guaranteed weekend forecast, and the laurier exclusive news report.

After a restful reading week the small crew has returned to see all but one Laurier team knocked unceremoniously out of the playoffs. Nathan and Frankie return to talk about the disastrous circumstances that befell the Laurier Golden Hawks over the last two weeks, and do a postmortem on the men's teams that have now been booted. Thank god the women's hockey team is still rolling loud and has a chance to actually take it home for the Purple and gold. And then in a WORLD FIRST (probably) F1 COMES TO GOLD AND BOLD and the boys spend a dogs age finally talking racing on Laurier's premier sports show. ...Oh God the olympics.

It's Midterms so sports manager Nathan's flying solo this week on one of the biggest weeks of the year, and boy is it a time to have to fly solo. First of all, it's not over yet, but things have been looking rough over the last little while for both the men's and women's hockey teams at Laurier, who are stumbling even as both look to cruise into playoff slots. Nathan goes on to bemoan the ongoing ball-and-chain that is the Anthony Santander contract, one of the biggest blunders the jays have seen in recent history, before looking around the league at the upcoming MLB season, and closing the shows chatting a bit about the blowout that was the Super Bowl this year, shout out to Tanner's beloved Seahawks for stomping the Patriots this year.
