Every day is the same. Wake up. Class. Gym. Radio Laurier. Readings. Netflix. Sleep. Repeat. My days may not be as exciting as Tom Cruise’s or Bill Murray’s but there’s always that repetition. Let’s just say I’m glad I’m getting stabbed or shot, because I don’t know if I’d wake up.
Huh, reading that over, that’s a depressing way to start this blog. Let’s start over.
HEEEEELLLLLLOOOOOOO LAURIER! This week I talked about Edge of Tomorrow (or Live. Die. Repeat., which it looks like it’s being rebranded as. I also talked news, kung-fu movies, and this amazing article on Deadline that you have to read. Very creepy, very good journalism.
In other cool movie things, check out this video of Frank Darabont’s (director of The Shawshank Redemption) reaction to the end of Blade Runner. If you don’t know, there are about 100 different versions of Blade Runner (slight exaggeration), and this cut from one of the worst versions. Good movie though.
Someone on Reddit gathered up 120 photos from the making of Chris Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy. This is super awesome – I love behind the scenes stuff, and this gives a rare glimpse into what made those movies great.
Speaking of Nolan, his new film Interstellar may be my most hyped movie of the fall – check out this stunning new banner for the movie.
And that’s all for this week! Check you next time!
