Laurier events are Study Skills & S.I. Centre, Testing with Confidence: Studying for and Writing Midterm 5:00pm – 6:20pm at BA210 (Bricker Academic) and is free. What you will learn: strategies to prepare for tests and anticipate possible questions; strategies to answer various types of exam questions (including multiple choice and essay questions); and, how to learn from your tests for future tests. Practical exercises included. What to bring: a laptop if you have one.

3. Select and enroll in the Study Skills Workshops,
4. Then select the workshops you want to register for.
Office of Aboriginal Initiatives is having Creative Native MONDAYS from 5:00pm – 8:00pm located at Aboriginal Student Centre, 187 Albert Street. NO COST FOR STUDENTS! Fall semester join us for Moc Mondays! Learn to bead, making vamps for a Laurier Sister’s in Spirit exhibit, then beading your own vamps and making your own mocs! KW event to check out this evening is Dishcrawl Waterloo from 7-9:30pm. Dishcrawl Waterloo launches its first walking restaurant tour on Monday September 30 2103 that will take you on a journey of four restaurants on one evening. Strolling though the Uptown area, you will take in the sights and smells of local fare and talk directly to restaurant owners and chefs. Tickets are $60.00 per person. Entertainment news for the day Arcade fire releases 22 minute video. Arcade Fire have debuted three songs in the mammoth celebrity-studded 22-minute Here Comes The Night Time video.The cinematic music clip includes the money-can’t-buy cast of Bono, Ben Stiller, Michael Cera, Bill Hader, Aziz Ansari, James Franco, Eric Wareheim, Rainn Wilson and Zach Galifianakis.Arcade Fire released the video to promote their new album ‘Reflektor’.

Our weird holiday of the day is National Mud pack day. Mud packs were once the rage for facial treatments. It is still popular. But, the mud in facials has been replaced with a variety of other ingredients. It is supposed to keep the skin young, soft and supple.
