The how- to for the day was… how to avoid getting sick! Here are your 7 tips,
How to avoid getting sick.
- Carry hand sanitizer and use it! Wash your hands frequently
- Avoid using common areas. Like railings on stair ways, keyboards, door knobs. Also Do the fist pound instead of handshake
- Clean your jackets, gloves, and hats. Many people don’t think do this except for at the beginning or the end of the season (if at all) but outerwear can trap a lot of pollutants, dirt, and germs. Dry clean coats maybe once a month and wash hats and gloves regularly.
4. Do yoga and meditate. Helps release toxins .Never underestimate the healing powers of yoga and meditation! Continuing a strong yoga practice helps with releasing toxins from the body and strengthens mind and body. Meditating helps cultivate an internal strength that can take on the harsh winter elements.
5. Avoid alcohol and dairy. As much as I love having a drink and having milk in my coffee, I try to avoid both. Alcohol can weaken the immune system and dairy can irritate an already sore throat.
6.Don’t touch your face throughout the day.
7. Get rest!
