Hey everyone! We had our first show of the year. It was exciting and nerve wracking. Last night was our introduction where we discussed how we became interested in the environment and how we came to radiolaurier as well as our plan for the direction of Noise Pollution.
Our first featured eco artist was the Barenaked Ladies, a homegrown band that uses biofuel to power their tours and have water refill stations at their shows so that you can reuse your water bottle over and over again!
Don’t forget that taking small steps to change your daily habits will significantly reduce your carbon footprint. It only takes 21 days to form a habit, which one will you tackle first?
The St. Jacobs Farmers market is open Thursdays and Saturdays from 7-330pm all year and some of the vendors that were displaced by the fire have set up temporary booths at various locations throughout the market. Others are selling their wares online. You can checkout the Market’s website to find out how to buy all the things you need from your favourite vendors. http://www.stjacobs.com/farmers-market
