Hey, Amber here from the Indie Hour! Today’s show revolved in totality around the wonderful bands that we will be seeing at the many, many festivals that will be going on in the summer.
As many of you know, NXNE is in Toronto from June 10-16! There will be over 1000 band there, including The National, Flag, Billy Talent, Sloan, Calexico, and many, many more. My favourite local band July Talk will also be present, so don’t forget to check them out!
Unfortunately, at the same time, I will be out of the country at Bonnaroo (so I guess it’s not that unfortunate). Headliners include Paul McCartney, The Lumineers, Tom Petty, Mumford and Sons, and BOB SAGET. I don’t know why, but I am SO stoked for the comedy at Bonnaroo, but of course, not as excited as I am for the music.
Osheaga will be happening from August 2-4 and headliners include Tegan and Sara, Mumford and Sons, The Cure, Beck, Vampire Weekend, and so many more. There are also “Osheaga Hotels” available, for those of you who still haven’t booked your accommodations!
