Good Afternoon Golden Hawks! Welcome to the final Skandy blog post for The Morning Show. I know it is a depressing subject but, all great things must come to an end eventually. Let us not dwell on that thought and instead focus on the spectacular episode that just went down this morning. The day began with a “green” theme due to an eco-friendly interview with the Communications Director of Steam Whistle Brewery Sybil Taylor. We chatted about her recent trip to the KW area, the various green initiatives Steam Whistle has instilled since their start in 2000 and other eco-friendly initiatives they are in the middle of creating. Shortly after that, during How To, Oracle educated me on some helpful tips in surviving a shark attack. Such tips included keeping an eye on your aquatic attacker and making sure not to panic. (This list can be easily found on Wiki How) Following the aquatic survival tips came #LaurierProblems where I read some interesting complaints such as an exam schedule being a crime against human rights and someone spotting a library bathroom being used as a ‘romantic rendezvous’ spot. During What Grinds My Gears I complained about last days at a beloved workplace and the difficulties in moving on with one’s life. Lastly during the final half hour of the show I had a special appearance from the man who got me involved in WLUSP in the first place. The Spock to my Captain Kirk, DJ Lunkis.
