This week on The Indie Hour, we played the very best from our tags on Shazam. We had quite the eclectic mix, ranging from folk to hip-hop and we’d like to thank all the people who randomly played those songs at various locations. Also, props to the artists for having good music, and Shazam for allowing us to discover that music.

We also talked about Women’s history month, which is grossly undersold. Everyone go home and hug your mom. This years theme was geared towards women in math, science, and technology–basically the fields that are still largely male-dominated. Kudos to the ladies that work their asses off to be successful in these fields.

Our awesome song list this week is:

MNDR- Feed me diamonds

MeWithoutYou- The Fox, The Crow, and the Cookie

The Black Angels- Sunday Afternoon

First Aid Kit- In the Hearts of Men

The Lumineers- Stubborn Love

The Middle East- Blood

The Virgins- Flashbacks, Memories, and Dreams

Kate Nash- Unconventional Girl

Sirsy- Cannonball

Langhorne Slim and the Law- The Way We Move

The Joy Formidable- Little Blimp

Jurassic 5- Quality Control
