Hey everyone! On today’s installment of the Morning Show, it was only I, DJ Rooftop. Nonetheless, much was covered in the 3-hour span as I discussed recent events regarding North Korean nuclear weapons testing, the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI (and what the ensuing process will be like in order to elect a new Pope), and naturally, SPACE.
While I sadly cannot go to the event, I made a point of reminding listeners that a very special event will be going on at the University of Waterloo this Friday. Canadian Space Agency Astronaut, and soon-to-be Commander of the International Space Station, Chris Hadfield, will be chatting with and answering the questions of students via live feed directly from the International Space Station. The event itself begins at 11:30 AM in the Humanities Theater! If you are available and interested, I’d highly recommend inquiring whether there is room as I’m sure the event will draw some serious crowds. For more information on the event, just head on over to this website.
And of course, I wish you all a VERY happy Valentine’s Day tomorrow! AND a very safe and enjoyable reading week! Tune into the Morning Show tomorrow with Skandy, Lunkis, and Scotty G. as they bring you 3-hours of entertaining programming on Valentine’s Day!
