Lunkis here from the Morning Show! Today was a pretty awesome broadcast with Rooftop! We covered quite a bit of content, though we did have an incredibly important “How to Today”, being “How to Be an Astronaut“. (or rather, how to be an astronaut for NASA) Yes, your parents said you can do anything you set your mind to, and you’ll really have to work your brain on overdrive for this job. Back in the good old days, most astronauts were just pilots but nowadays, as the article says, most are physicists, aerospace engineers, and other crazy scientific jobs that I’ll never have the skills to… I JUST WANT TO BE AN ASTRONAUT.
In other news we had Juno nominated Jazz musician (and excellent chef) on the show to talk about his upcoming album, Strands III, and the Jazz musician life. From what we heard, touring as a Jazz musician sounds like a much more relaxing experience than touring with a classic rock band. We also asked Darren to list three jazz musicians that are easily accessible and great “gateway” artists for those interested in getting into Jazz. His picks are Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis, and Ben Monder.
Anyways that’s all from me for today, be sure to catch tomorrows installment of the Morning Show with TBA, Skandy and Oracle!
